Although we were not to successful with the "Armedello Hunt". We did manage to capture a rabbit and some nice bass. The beverage consumption was top notch, as you can tell. Good Times at Sparkmans in Macon, MS.

Winter Fun in Charleston, MO

"We ought to just tie that satellite dish up behind this here Jeep and give her hell, I'll buy the hot damn."

"You just get back there and hang on, I'll worry about the drivin, and you're too young for hot damn anyway"

Cold blooded view from the levee.

Pretty dang fun.

This was back a couple years ago. It would be nice if someone up there could put up some pictures of Ice Storm 2009. I bet the local news folks are updating y'all to death.

Drove down to PA last weekend and picked up little Bea. She thinks she's a golden retriever and we're not correcting her. Matt

Another exciting day at venice, LA ( fishing capital of the world)

We had plenty of fun this day. But tying of to those rigs in 3 ft's is a bitch. Venice rules, wish I could live there.

Off the Boat and Into the Belly

Put on my shrimp boots and drove to Hopedale Louisiana with Bones Saturday. These came off the boat, up the conveyor belt and into our car. $30 for enough oysters to keep your old lady on her toes for a week. Neat drive too. Raw, on the grill, in the oven, anyway you like it. Should've gotten some better pictures, maybe next time. M-m good.

Raisin' Cane Duck Club

Met my dad in Eudora, Arkansas last Friday for the Old-timers weekend at our old duck camp. Didn't kill many big birds but the teal saved us. Even smuggled a few back to the NYC.  Fresh Arkansas Teal, wild rice, and green beans; Don't see that on many menus up here.  Took a ride around the farm with my camera and somehow caught this bobcat action shot. Crazy.

Jackson Hole

The absolute coldest weather I've experienced. Got down to -29 Degrees. I was able to find a some big air on this sick trick park. It was an EPIC trip. The Grand Tetan's are truly remarkable.

No More Nerdspot

I bought a domain name so now http://www.tywappity.com/ is the website's address. The old http://www.tywappity.blogspot.com/ will still work, but I thought taking out the "blogspot" part would cut down on the nerd factor considerably. It also makes it possible for anybody that wants one to have a xxx@tywappity.com email address. Let me know if you're interested.

Just A Little Background Information

So two days ago I caught a Xiphactinus audax, a long predatory bony fish that lived in the Western Interior Sea, over what is now the middle of North America, during the Late Cretaceous. I found him on the fourth floor of The American Museum of Natural History.

It was a pretty big fish and there was a lot of "structure" around getting in the way.

Included in this post is a picture of an Xiphactinus audax skeleton.

If ya'll want I can photoshop some lite beer & sunglasses on me or the fish to meet The Official Tywappity Regulatory Standards. "I kid, I kid"

Please allow me to introduce myself....

I shot this monster last year at an undisclosed location. I took him from about 20 yards so he looked a lot bigger.

He had a nasty cigarette habit so probably wouldn't have lived that long anyway. All of you aspiring marksmen note the neck shot; I didn't feel like running around all night chasing a spike buck.

And I watched my buddy Buck shoot this wabbit with a .270 from about 150 yards. We still aren't sure how it didn't explode; I think he just scared it to death.

I am down with fun and have lots of other pictures that I'm looking forward to throwing on here.
