Marsh Masters, Leeville, Louisiana

We went bow-fishing the first night, but there was so much action we didn't really have time to slow down and get any pictures... We cruised out through the swamps in air-boat decked out with lights along the front and sides... The coon-ass guide ran it wide open as we ramped over small islands and whipped around the marsh... We would settle in 1 to 2 feet deep pools and let the arrows fly... It was like shooting fish in a barrel... some of the time the big reds would be in water so shallow their backs were out of the water... We bagged several reds, a few sheepsheads, and 1 flounder. The next day we went out in the bay and found a white trout hole that we couldn't cast and reel in without catching one. Once we were tired of that... We went to battle with the bull reds with fairly light tackle. Some fights lasted a half hour or more. Our fat-ass guide, "Captain" was truly a crippled angry old fuck... There are no better words to describe him... His bitter attitude may have been the highlight of the trip. He cussed and bitch about everything, but what he lacked in customer service he more than double in his knowledge of the bay and fishing... Will caught a small 2 foot shark, and later that day my dad caught a pelican... If ever you get the chance to use the Marsh Masters Outfit, I highly recommend them...
